Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit connects Arcade to OneDrive-backed Word documents via the Microsoft Graph API, enabling LLMs to create, read, and edit .docx files programmatically.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new Word documents in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit).
- Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and/or body content; content is returned as Markdown by default, metadata-only mode is available.
- Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit;.docxformat required). - User context: Fetch details about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word/OneDrive environment.

This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 delegated authentication via Microsoft. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup instructions, required scopes, and configuration details.
